Jean and Mana cross paths at a cabin in the mountains. While Jean records and catalogues every animal sound in the forest, Mana studies and reproduces birdsong through musical instruments. One day, Jean records a sound that neither of them recognises. 07:15 - Blackbird thus transforms into a mystery story where science and poetry converge, reflecting a broad spectrum of human knowledge. The young filmmaker Judith Auffray delves into the enigmas of the forest, capturing the restlessness of a mind intent on exploring that which remains unseen.NURIA CUBAS

Judith was born in Paris in 1993. She first studied painting and drawing at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Lyon then cinema at the HEAD - Geneva. Her first feature film, A house (2020), selected at Cinéma du réel (Paris), FID Marseille and awarded at Ji.hlava IDFF, was released in cinemas in France in November 2021. She entered Le Fresnoy in 2020 where she made two films, 7:15-Blackbird (Cinéma du réel, Brive film festival, Côté Court, Ji.hlava IDFF) and Men of the night (2022)
