Critical text
A direct precursor to a work centred on the sensory experience, in Todas mis cicatrices se desvanecen en el viento, Velandia and Restrepo first explore 3D scanning as a means of reconstructing physical and psychic spaces from the past. The image, which transports us to a kind of haunted house, is accompanied by subtitles that translate a monologue by Restrepo’s mother, whose words make palpable the pain of memory and the need for reparation. A journey of healing and reconstruction, through the image and by means of it, in the form of particles that materialise in the digital medium. DANIELA URZOLA
