Asif Ken Fernandes (IMDb) is a director and VFX supervisor from Madrid, with a degree in Film and Audiovisual Fiction from UCJC. He has directed two short films: *Un Parpadeo Rojo* (2024) and *Vestigio* (2025), both of which have been selected for various festivals and screened at cultural centers, such as the Gijón International Film Festival (FICX), the D’A Film Festival (Barcelona), and the Festival Interna- cional de Márgenes (Madrid), as well as in Room B of the Filmo- teca Española, curated by Álex Mendibil. He has also served as director of photography on the short film Alma (2023), selected for the FICX. All of his involvement in these projects shares a common thread: the effective use of post-production to explain the everyday through the supernatural. His work in digital visual effects at the company Free Your Mind spans a wide variety of Spanish cinema; he has worked on more than 50 feature film and series projects, ranging from the most commercial cinema, such as La Infiltrada (2024), dir. Arantxa Eche- verría, and Tierra de nadie (2024), dir. Albert Pintó, to more art-house productions, such as Balearic (2025), dir. Ion de Sosa, and Cerrar los ojos (2022), dir. Víctor Erice. He is currently developing new projects independently and is focused on writing his first feature film, Pernocta."
