Critical text
A French couple has just adopted two Lithuanian children. In order to help them to acclimatize to the language and their new context, they have the help of a bilingual student, who will work both as a translator and a babysitter for two months. The coexistence of this emerging family will not take long to crack. This sharp intimate drama, Austeja Urbaite's feature debut, reveals personal and ethnocentric dynamics of domination at the same time that wraps its narrative in a natural setting full of mythological references.
