The same shot, used at the beginning and end, is reinterpreted through the course of a journey that serves as an ultimatum for a couple. The lack of communication in their relationship is explored through conversation and isolation in shots of uninhabited landscapes. BIOGRAPHY
Maria Zbąska graduated in Photography (2000) and Cinematography (2007) from the Polish National Film School in Łódź. Between 1996 and 2005 she worked as a press photographer for Gazeta Wyborcza and National Geographic. Zbąska collaborated with M Magazine and NRC Handelsblad newspaper in the Netherlands. Since 2005, she has been working as a cinematographer and director on short films, documentaries and commercials. She is a graduate of the Feature Film Development Programme and the EKRAN Programme at the Wajda School.
