Maria Zbąska graduated in Photography (2000) and Cinematography (2007) from the Polish National Film School in Łódź. Between 1996 and 2005 she worked as a press photographer for Gazeta Wyborcza and National Geographic. Zbąska collaborated with M Magazine and NRC Handelsblad newspaper in the Netherlands. Since 2005, she has been working as a cinematographer and director on short films, documentaries and commercials. She is a graduate of the Feature Film Development Programme and the EKRAN Programme at the Wajda School.

The same shot, used at the beginning and end, is reinterpreted through the course of a journey that serves as an ultimatum for a couple. The lack of communication in their relationship is explored through conversation and isolation in shots of uninhabited landscapes. A proposal far from any naturalism and an uneven cadence that, like the protagonists, meets again punctually. YOEL GONZÁLEZ URIBE
