Quiero a cualquiera que me escuche decir te quiero (parte I)
A piece by Elena López Riera and Violeta Gil for Filmadrid 2026, work in progress. Featuring on stage Víctor Iriarte and others.
A detective story, a piece set in the dark, a piece with clues, letters, and hidden notes. A journey.
“I’m starting the journey alone,” a voice in the darkness speaks to us, shares entries from her diary, reads a letter containing one of the clues she must follow. Someone who has been away for a long time writes to say they’re still alive, that they’re waiting…
Noises in the night—perhaps a dance nearby? We hear, but we don’t see. Someone is kissing. A conversation fades away. Headlights blind us. A search. A promise. Everything we’d like to see is hidden, at least for now. A wish may be fulfilled when dawn breaks.
A summer night, a highway, two strangers. Thus begins the journey.ELENA LÓPEZ RIERA Y VIOLETA GIL
