BIOGRAPHY
Sandra Romero, born in Écija (Seville) in 1993, is one of the most promising young filmmakers on the Spanish scene. Her work presents a raw and profound portrait of her generation, filled with vividly alive characters. She studied Journalism at the University of Seville and later moved to Madrid to study filmmaking at ECAM, where she specialized in Directing. During her studies, she directed the short film Una habitación propia (2019), which was selected for the 18th Short Film Week of the Community of Madrid and the 16th Seville European Film Festival. She is currently developing her first feature film in collaboration with producer José Nolla (Icónica Films).
