The archaeologist Margo Moreira disembarks in the region known as Central Depression, located in southern Brazil. It is a strange, restricted area in which the sun never sets. The end of the night has caused the disappearance of the city, even a few words (“how to describe feelings such as fear without the dark?” asks the voice-over). Filmed in 16 mm, the debut of Marcela Ilha Bordin is a delicate science fiction, anachronistic and futuristic at the same time, which interrogates itself for everything that is lost when progress advances.
