SYNOPSIS

Memento Stella is the second middle length film/ new master piece by Takashi Makino, completed in 2018. This film (light), which was shot in many countries and finished in Hong Kong, is delivered to all over the world again. The original soundtrack is from Dutch musician Reinier Van Houdt, but this time it will be a special screening. Makino will play music by himself in live. Makino did perform live music performance with Memento Stella in January 2018 in URANO (Tokyo), but it was only for the part 1 and part 2 of Memento Stella. Performance at La Casa Encendida will be the first full length. Makino brings new life with a new interpretation and sound to the almost everlasting organic and deep images.

BIOGRAPHY

Takashi Makino

TAKASHI MAKINO (Japan, 1978) Studied music and lighting design at the London workshop of the Quay brothers. He then devoted himself to experimental creation, directing dozens of works that have been screened in more than 25 countries. Among his many accolades, Makino received the 2012 Tiger Award for best short film at the Rotterdam Festival for Generator.
