The reality of the villages sunk beneath the marshes is recurrent in our common history and it could even be said that it is also a frequent theme in Spanish cinema in recent years. The young filmmaker Maddi Barber takes one of these places as her starting point and setting and manages to transcend the historical fact itself to elaborate a song about ancestral loss, a space where the passage of time seems to be nothing more than life and death happening simultaneously.
