Orbainak, Cicatrices, is a duel between memory-photography-history and life-story-identity. But it is also a duel of temporary resistance in which the scar is the necessary cut that generates a split through which time passes and allows us to think about ourselves. Through the exploration of the Basque geography and the faces that expose the black and white photographs with their scars, we enter into a story that pursues a question, namely, the wars may be over but what about the struggle? Dueling with what we are today is more than ever our sense of being. PAULA LÓPEZ MONTERO
