SYNOPSIS

For the first time in our history, a Vanguardias Live event closes FILMADRID, a fantastic finishing touch to the festival's ten-year history. The Madrid musical duo Ombligo, formed by Ana Sobrino (Anika) and Ángel Cáceres, imagine and reinvent a new soundtrack for Pedro Almodóvar's What have I done to deserve this? (1984), which this year turns forty years old. The Cine Doré hosts the event, a beautiful tribute to our city.

BIOGRAPHY

Pedro Almodóvar + Ombligo

Ombligo had its origin in the subway wagons of Madrid, where Angel and Anika met at the end of 2015. They made a pact and decided to unite, without limits, their diverse musical imaginary. Since then they have not stopped composing and giving concerts throughout Spain, Portugal, Italy and Cape Verde, passing through emblematic spaces such as the Teatro Circo Price or Sala Galileo Galilei. Their music is eclectic, it feeds on multiple musical styles, taking them to their own territory in a very personal way. Progressive music and humor with an unique touch.
