SYNOPSIS
El fin del mundo ya no es lo que era is a radio, audiovisual and festive experience to reflect on the end of time. María Pérez Sanz proposes a journey through the representation of the apocalypse in cinema and its evolution up to the present day, in which she includes materials from personal research where sociological and anthropological texts are combined with press articles, YouTube videos, etc. Together with a group of collaborators, in Casa de Campo and under the stars, Pérez Sanz offers an adventure towards collapse.

MARÍA PÉREZ SANZ (Cáceres, 1984) is a director and scriptwriter. Since she was very young, she has been writing and directing short films that have been screened and awarded prizes at numerous festivals and museums all over the world. Malpartida Fluxus Village was her first feature film. The film, dedicated to the German artist Wolf Vostell and his Fluxus Museum, toured more than 30 international festivals and won important awards. Karen is his second feature film. In 2022 she will release La niña mártir, based on a text by Cristina Morales.
