In Franco Piavoli's cinema, there is no concept of scale: the role of things is not determined by their size and the petals of a flower have the same value as the most luxuriant grove of trees. Through 'Il pianeta azzurro', 'l'infinito' studies this way of understanding the world as the fruit of the relationship between the elements that inhabit it; of the part and the whole as inexorably indissoluble elements.
