FILM REGISTRATION – FILMADRID 2025

• About FILMADRID

FILMADRID International Film Festival aims to promote the exhibition of author cinema, with special interest in works that innovate in their narrative and formal approaches.

• Dates

FILMADRID 2025 will take place in Madrid, Spain, from 10th to 15th June. 

• Categories

Official CompetitionFiction and non fiction films from all over the world. There is no minimum running time set for films.

• Requirements and registration

– Only films whose international premiere took place after January 1st, 2024 are eligible

– Entries are for films that have never been publicly exhibited in Spain.

To submit a film it is mandatory to fill the registration form on the home page of the festival and provide an online link as a screener.

• Jury

The jury will be composed of personalities from the audiovisual media, national and or international arts and culture.

People who are directly related to the works in competition will be disabled from being part of the jury.

The jury’s decision is final.

• Awards

FILMADRID 2025 will award the following prizes:

–  – Grand Prize for Best Film in the Official Competition (3,000€)

• Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Registration in FILMADRID implies acceptance of these terms and conditions presented here. After accepting the invitation to one of the sections, the films cannot be removed from the festival program.

After the communication of the selection and until after its exhibition in the festival, the selected films must not be publicly exhibited in Madrid.

• Deadline

Submissions must be completed no later than April 1st, 2025.
